The weekend will focus on how we can create the right conditions in which each child can develop a sense of coherence within themselves that provides a true basis of resilience to adverse life events (in childhood and later). We will ask ourselves how our setting and the way we do things lets the child experience meaningfulness, manageability (self-determination) and comprehensible in accordance with the individual’s developmental situation. We will look at how exactly does each of our actions and interventions impact the child’s long term mental and physical health.

We would also like to welcome Judith Tabberner, an experienced school nurse, to share her experience of external treatments for home nursing.

Weekend Training: Saturday 29th February 9am to Sunday 1st March 1pm
